Letter signed by RICHARD NIXON (1913-1994), 1 page, dated December 1980. Fine content, regarding Nixon’s attendance at the funeral of Reza Pahlevi, the Shah of Iran, who died earlier that year. “I considered it not a duty but an honor to pay my respects to one who had been such a loyal friend and ally of the United States for over thirty years…” damp stained.
Also comes with signed letter from Nixon’s wife Patricia Nixon, 1 page.
