A beautiful pure silver Vesta Case from late 19th Century.

This case is marked ‘Xmas 1886’ and marked by Matthew John Jessop.

Also along the upper rim, is marked Thornhill, New Bond Street London.

It is a beautiful piece and the unusual part of the piece is the enamel Royal crest on the front, with the personal marking of ‘Xmas 1886’.

This is really a unique piece.
